MEET ASHLEY HATCHETT
Ashley graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law where she was an advocate on the National Trial Competition mock trial team and Notes Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law. She spent her summers working for large and mid-sized civil defense law firms in Atlanta.
After law school, Ashley moved to north Georgia and married her law school classmate and Habersham native, Thomas "Bo" Hatchett, III. She worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Piedmont Judicial Circuit prosecuting felony cases before Chief Judge David Motes in the Superior Court of Jackson County. Ashley then joined a private law firm and litigated cases on behalf of national insurance companies. She has also represented criminal defendants, injured plaintiffs, and companies seeking subrogation.
Ashley now brings her civil and criminal legal experience to Habersham and surrounding counties to offer a wide array of legal services.
